A couple days after the birth of my son (yes I am now a daddy-o), shit finally came together with the hip that has been languishing for the last month or two. The guys came together and kicked out another fine piece of work... check the shots (Most are by Minton) below for proof. and as always, Larryburger John approved, in fact he thought it was tight!

Actually, it’s quite a few bones. Mike Burnett and Dave Swift, along with the good chums at Podium Distribution, donated a piece of the proceeds of their “photographer series” shoe models to the skatepark. We just received the checks yesterday. We’re talking around three grand here folks. That’s a big deal around these parts. A fine example of skaters giving back to their own. Thanks you guys. Now go buy some DVS shoes and help this sluggish economy!

The first session on the pole jam was comedy! Loads of slams, including Casey rolling into a big mud puddle. I haven’t attempted yet, but I’ve seen a couple 30 somethings attempt it and roll away, so we’ll see.....

Been on a bit of a mini-photo-hiatus as of late due to wife being totally pregnant, dealing with buying a pad, and working a bunch (due to the first two things!) I’ve added some more photos tonight though, mainly because I’m all hyped on a new camera I’ve acquired. I really dig the shots I took of Bill in that late afternoon light down there at the park. As for park updates, things are moving, the shovels have been out, and the skate sessions have been off the hook.
